Tony Orlando, "Yellow ribbon" y "Candida", 1970

Michael Anthony Orlando Cassavitis (Nueva York, 3 de abril de 1944) conocido profesionalmente como Tony Orlando, es un cantante, compositor, productor, ejecutivo musical y actor estadounidense, conocido por su asociación con la agrupación Tony Orlando and Dawn y sus éxitos en la década de 1970.

Grabó la canción "Candida" como vocalista principal bajo el seudónimo de "Dawn" en 1970, y cuando la canción se convirtió en un éxito internacional, comenzó a usar su nombre en el grupo convirtiéndose en "Dawn featuring Tony Orlando" y luego "Tony Orlando and Dawn".
